Spirit and Grace Academy seeks to live and teach in accordance with the faith taught by the Catholic Church’s Magisterium and the Catechism of the Catholic Church
READ FULL STATEMENT OF FAITHWhat is the Magesterium of the Catholic Church?
Defined as “the Church’s divinely appointed authority to teach the truths of religion.” In other words, Our Lord gave His Church the authority to teach the faithful about what is expected of them, and that is what the Church has done consistently from the start.
And the apostles and ancients assembled to consider of this matter. And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know, that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, who knoweth the hearts, gave testimony, giving unto them the Holy Ghost, as well as to us.
– Acts 15:6-8
What is the Catechism of the Catholic Church?
The catechism is an organized presentation of the essential teachings of the Catholic Church in regard to both faith and morals.
LEARN MOREREAD CCCOur educational goals are to arouse wonder about the natural world and what it means to be human, to present beauty, and to model goodness and virtue.

Our pedagogical methods are experiential and socratic, both of which are rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition.
And we do this within a community of parents and teachers who are themselves striving to be all that God has called them to be and to do so from a place of joy and gratitude, where every person is valued as a child of God and worthy of attention.

Trust Your Gut
The genesis of Spirit and Grace Academy was in 2021, when concerned parents got together and decided to trust, not their guts, but in God and the educational path to which He was calling them and their families.
Two of those parents / leaders of the school shared the story with Dr. Rodney White on his “The Trust Your Gut Podcast” in May 2022. This is a great way to learn more about our school and its values.
“Whatever an education is, it should make you a unique individual, not a conformist; it should furnish you with an original spirit with which to tackle the big challenges; it should allow you to find values which will be your roadmap through life; it should make you spiritually rich, a person who loves whatever you are doing, wherever you are, whomever you are with; it should teach you what is important, how to live and how to die.”

What Our Parents, Teachers, and Students Say…
I love SAGA because our motto is “Faith over Fear,” and we started our own Catholic school. Also there are such kind people at this school.
– Student
SAGA is unique because you get to form relationships with kids in different grades. It’s like we are one big family.
– Student
SAGA is an amazing community, people don’t bring you down here, they just build you up.
– Student
The SAGA community feels like family because of the size, and the genuine love that our parents and teachers have for the children. Through Freedom Fridays and leadership opportunities I’ve seen my kids flourish and bring back their love of learning.
– Parent
It’s not a humongous school so I get more one-on-one time with teachers and I feel very comfortable asking questions if I need help.
– Student
I realized that today, our society at large has a completely different value system. There’s no more being lukewarm on your values or your faith, and thinking your kids will pick it up as they go along in the broader society. Those days are over. If we want our kids to share our values we have to be strong in them and committed to doing whatever it takes to share them.
– Parent
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
